Call for Participants! National Institute of Justice (NIJ)–funded study

The International Rescue Committee- Phoenix, Arizona is currently recruiting participants for a National Institute of Justice (NIJ)–funded study (15PNIJ-24-GG-01747-HT) that examines the prevalence of human trafficking along the southern U.S. border. Eligible individuals are invited to take part in a confidential survey about their experiences, on a fully voluntary basis.
  • Eligibility: 18+, entered the U.S. from Mexico after 2013
  • Time commitment: Approximately 30 minutes
  • Format: Conducted with a trained provider in the participant’s preferred language, or self-administered if they prefer
  • Thank-you: $20 prepaid gift card
  • Confidentiality: Fully voluntary; no identifying information is collected or shared, including with law enforcement

The first is for the survey with a $20 benefit for participants. The second includes information for the interview piece of this research, which will be a separate call lasting 1 hour with a $40 benefit to the participant.
